Every Thanksgiving, my plate is never big enough. There’s never enough room on there to get even a small spoonful of each dish that’s been set out. And no matter how much I will that delectable turkey to scoot over just a *tiny* bit more, it doesn’t have anywhere to go so that I can fit another slice of fruit from an ambrosia salad on there. Looks like the yam casserole will have to wait until a second helping later – provided there’s room (and any left!).

If your business is starting to look like your Thanksgiving dinner, it’s time to hire a virtual team.

Why should you hire a virtual team?

As your business (or Thanksgiving dinner plate) grows to capacity, your plate is literally becoming too full. While your Thanksgiving dinner plate probably won’t break, you might. Each of us only has 24 hours in a day, and we have a lot of obligations to meet within those 24 hours.

Hiring a virtual team lets you get a second plate now. It lets you keep filling up your plate (or sales) so that your business can continue to grow – without adding another mouth to the table to feed.

Sure, you’ll be paying them. But you’re not paying a salary or any of the extra costs associated with a new employee.

When Virtual Teams outrank an in-office team

Some of the other perks to a virtual team are that they’re available for as many (or as few) hours as you need them. Their schedule is often a lot more flexible than a traditional employee’s, too.

Depending on any time zone differences, responses may require a few hours to a few days (that’ll also depend upon their policies). But is that any different than dealing with an employee who’s stepped away from their desk or is taking a couple of personal days? Nope!

In other words, not only are you paying less than hiring a whole new employee, you’re getting a new employee who’s got a team’s worth of expertise!

Now, we know that a virtual team isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. (Because, really, I’ve never had a cup of tea at any Thanksgiving meal I’ve ever been to) But it is a great option that’s really only developed thanks to the internet. And it’s a fantastic way to make sure that you’re getting the expertise you need – at a very reasonable investment.

Are you ready to make the leap and invest in your own virtual team? We’d love to be your virtual team. Or, if we don’t have the skills you need, we’ll find your team for you. Either way, just give us a call and we’ll get things going.
