There’s nothing quite like the pit of despair feeling you get when you’re reaching to pay for your basket full of groceries… only to realize that you’ve forgotten your wallet at home.
Truly, it’s an awful feeling. Not only do I then have to load my boys back up into my car, then I have to drive home, fetch my wallet, and drive back. Thankfully, this is a rare occurrence. Rare enough that I dread it happening, but it has happened!
In business, there’s a similar feeling. It’s when you’ve got an invoice sent out. It’s coming due (or even past due), and you’re not sure if it’s going to be paid on time… if at all.
Thankfully, there’s a better way than the old “well, I hope they pay their bill on time…” waiting game.
