Omnipresence. What the heck is that? You may have heard this word floating around the marketplace.
And you may or may not know what it is, which is probably why you are reading this post! I have a little bit of a different take on what omnipresence is and how it’s the name of the game in 2020.
The traditional definition is being on multiple channels at the same time. So you are regularly posting to multiple social media channels, writing a blog post every week, using live video and stories, and probably sending out a newsletter. You may be doing a few other things, but basically you are showing up on multiple platforms.
For some of you, that’s more expansive that you are already doing. I would encourage you to make your goal for 2020 to become omnipresent (in the traditional sense of the word).
Work on upping your game and being more visible online in more places. It’s a great place to start.
For others of you, you are already doing all those things. And maybe you already have a team in place that is doing those things for you, but you are already committed to taking over the internet with your message.
Either place is fine. Really!
Do you want it?
The most important thing that you need to ask yourself before ever having an omnipresent strategy is “Do you even want it? What level do you want to get to?” Then you can figure out the omnipresent strategy you need to be creating.
Are you okay with growing at a slower rate and focusing on traditional omnipresence? That’s awesome!
You will want to focus on getting consistent on multiple platforms and staggering your content on each of those platforms.
Do you want to be an A list player? Sa-weet!
Then you need to learn how to show up more than traditional omnipresence and having a longer content cycle. You need to be willing to create volumes of content.
That may sound a bit scary, but it really doesn’t have to be with the right strategy.
At the A-list level, people want to see you everywhere and in a lot of different types of mediums.
A new way of omnipresence
Most people think that they can get consistent with their content, then increase their volume, then work on the quality of their content. After that, you start increasing the quality of consistent content and figuring out if people want to read it.
That does work with traditional omnipresence.
But, I’m here to tell you, there is a NEW way of having an omnipresence in 2020. It’s going to take commitment. It’s going to require learning new ways of repurposing your content.
Don’t freak out yet!
It’s also going to get you to be an A-list player. It’s going to get your audience to seek you out and PAY you! (How glorious would that be, right? Having them find you AND pay you??)
On March 25th – put that day in your calendar right now – it’s a Wednesday. I’m hosting something new. Something no one has ever done before.
It’s a Quarterly Content Call. I will have all the details in the next week or so, but what you need to know right now is that this is the place to learn all about how to level up your omnipresent strategy.
I’ll be sharing strategies that I haven’t even shared with my clients yet.
They are guaranteed to create raving fans and make you stand out from the crowd.
You will learn new ways of creating an omnipresent approach so you can smash your competition in 2020. Now is the time.
Omnipresence is here to stay, my friend. If you aren’t deepening and expanding what you do and how you do it in 2020, you will become obsolete. Your clients will demand that you be omnipresent and it will literally change your game and how you show up in the world.
